Pink has been lingering on the fashion front for a few seasons already and has finally come out as the top colour trend for SS17. Luckily this hue is one of the easiest to work into an outfit. Whether styled with other fashion trends like gingham, athleisure, yellow, underwear as outerwear or all on its own, pink is all the rage right now.

Utility & Pink

The utilitarian movement in fashion has morphed with other styles of dressing: head to toe army gear isn’t what utility stands for today. Clash styles and blend your patch pocket khaki jacket with a ladylike pleated fuchsia skirt. Add slides for a relaxed of-the-moment look.

Pink for Days

The softness of dogwood pink makes it a perfect shade for a total pink look. Jumpsuit is a great alternative to a dress if you had enough of those. Separates like wide-leg trousers and tailored shirts in tonal rose are another stylish option for a total pink ensemble.

Office pinstripes & Pink

Pink is capable to offset even the most composed and business-like pieces including pinstriped and checked suits. For a casual outfit, break up your business suit and keep the blazer, replace the bottoms with jeans or chinos, add some statement making shoes and accessories and the centrepiece of the look – pink top.

Red + Pink

The days of pink and orange are behind, the new chicest colour-combo has emerged – red and pink. You might have already come across this notion if you follow fashion news and latest developments. The trend might cause some issues if you have to choose the correct shades to mix together yourself… Not to worry! The designers have come to your rescue executing the difficult part for you by creating colour-blocked designs that feature both pink and red like Marni’s clutch, Casadei shoesDolce & Gabbana’sAttico’s and Fausto Puglisi’s dresses.
