The new collection of Rene’ Caovilla is a unique mixture of brand’s traditions and its modern interpretations. This Venetian brand with over 80 years of heritage combines art and high quality. Rene’ Caovilla told us a story of love and passion for excellency.
For spring-summer 2017 season there is a variety of shoes for any occasion: a new pair of high-heels with an elegant tie around the ankle, glamorous sneakers for everyday, flat sandals and ballerinas all decorated with sparkling crystals and rhinestones.
You will also find new warm and sunny colours on offer such as lemon yellow, light mint and pale rose – a breath of fresh air for the upcoming summer.
Mid and high heeled shoes, which buckled at the ankle, were inspired by the traditional corsets of XVII century, contrasting other designs with their geometric shapes. The combination of black and gold for the new season was inspired by the 70’s.
Continuing on inspiration, the clean lines were influenced by New Zealand’s Maori tribes’ tattoos and got reflected in graphic patterns of the sandals, tulle elements and micro crystals.
This new collection is a true mix of epochs, cultures and traditions but it is looking forward to the new, the future, thanks to symmetrical black and white combinations (borrowed from the 20’s) which gave it balance and confidence.
