Though it might not be groundbreaking, but flowers and spring go hand in hand and its hard to resist adding a cheerful bloom to your wardrobe thus ushering in the warmer season.
Floral theme has been explored by designers in various ways: print, embroideries, lace, appliqués, 3D flowers appearing on shoes, accessories and garments. Though a petal here and there is a sweet little inclusion, think bigger – all over print on clothes from romantic watercolour English garden motifs on chiffon to bright and bold 60s style floral patterns (Spring Summer 2016 runways boasted with flowers- Gucci, Erdem, Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana to name a few).
Designers are eager to keep this feminine botanical story going by preserving florals for Fall Winter 2016 season: as seen in Rochas, Victoria, Victoria Beckham, Nicole Miller, Alexis Mabille, MSGM, Michael Kors Collection, Jason Wu, Balenciaga and many others.
So which petals will you be pushing this spring?
